OS100 R2 installed about 2 years ago. Set it up for CID mid-2008. Worked fine for about a week, then stopped logging CID information. Upgraded to v2.75b and that seemed to correct the problem. Then last Spring it stopped logging more calls. Tech support says clear the buffer. How? Default and re-program. That worked until a week or so ago, and it's back to the same problem.
I've verified CID is coming in on the lines and everything that needs to be set up is per the Special Applications section of the manual.
Any idea what's going on? Defaulting and re-programming every few months is going to get old real fast. Waiting for my GSBN password to be reset so I can see if there is a more current version, but if there is will it correct the problem?

2.76 is the latest and possibly last version. I do not see a reference to a cid fix or issue.

Thanks, pvj. Funny thing is this is the only OS100 we have out there with CID problems, and also the one with the most current software. Hmmmmm....

I had this happen with two sites and what I found in common was an IAD in place of copper lines. All other locations with copper lines do not have this problem.

Thanks for the reply. No IADs that I'm aware of but you never know. Funny thing happened, though. On Thursday the customer was migrated to FiOS, on Friday all the stations with one exception were getting CID info and I've done nothing to it since Wednesday. No idea why only one station isn't getting CID, it used to and all is set up correctly. Default and restore from backup next week and see how long it lasts.

Maybe it's the only station not ringing.

Went to the site today to default and restore from backup and the station apparently started receiving caller ID information yesterday evening. Nothing has been changed in a week. Go figure, but at least it was a short service call!

I am having the same issue with a 500R1. All of a sudden, no CID, but I get it from Verizon. Rebooted the system, and it lasted for 1 week. Have to go back to figure out.
Anyone else have the problem?

check trunk loop current... We have a 100R2 that is in an office that is attached to the central office. really high loop current, CID is really flakey at that site. Had to install loop current limiters.
