OfficeServ 7200
My OfficeServ has 2 cabinets. I have just added a new extension from my 66 block to the second cabinet. When an incoming call gets the AA and dials any of the extensions that are on the second cabinet the caller does not hear MOH or ringing. The desired extension is ringing, but the incoming caller does not hear anything. This is not the case when dialing any extensions on Cabinet 1. The user will hear music on hold while the extension is ringing on Cabinet 1. Anyone know how to resolve this?

It looks like MOH is not on the second cabinet. I called the extension and put myself on hold and there is no MOH. I did also change the setting in pmmc in 3**. How do I add MOH for the second cabinet?

Ok, so I noticed in pmmc 7** that Cabinet 1 has 2 MOH ports on slot 6 (372 and 373). Cabinet 2 does not have any MOH ports. Am I right in thinking that I can't have MOH on Cabinet 2 without adding a MISC card for MOH? If so, can I add a basic ring to external callers when they are getting transferred to an extension on Cabinet 2 and add some sort of tone to notify the user that they are on hold instead of dead air?

Gerrya is correct it does do the whole system. I assume both cabinets are connected via the patch cables right?
If so then "assign station music on hold" should match one of the extensions in cab 1 that does work. Also "assign trunk music on hold source" might need to be looked at.

assign station MOH is easy enough to match up. assign trunk MOH is not so easy. I see in assign trunk MOH there are 2 tenants to choose from and tenant 2 is all set to MOH Source: Tone and Auto MOH: Tone. Some trunks in Tenant 1 are set to 372 and some are set to Tone. My options for Tenant 2 are None, Tone, or 371. No option for 372. Plus I would need to be pointed in the right direction to understand what trunk is linked to my extension I'm trying to assign MOH. Any other thoughts to help?

This was fixed by unplugging\re-plugging the cable from the MISC port on the PBX. It must have gotten loose.
