Anyone had any luck installing a PRI on an OS 7100?

Currently having trouble getting one up. TEPRIa card is good (installed in OS 7200 on same circuit and tested).

Have tried two (2) different OS 7100 MP10a processors and two (2) different cabinets. Circuit won't come up in OS 7100.

MP10a v4.30i
TEPRIa v4.26 (upgraded from v4.25)

Any suggestions?

Did one a couple of weeks ago took 2hrs to get it up. Had to shut system down and reseat the PRI card. I had the switch set up as DMS100 signaling and AT&T had theirs set up as NI signaling (Why and how it worked with different signaling I dont know). Once i got it up had to shut system back down to install a UPS and circuit would not come back up. Had to reseat the PRI card again to get it back up. This is the only one I have done so far.

bmreen-

This one's kind of wierd but since it's my first PRI on a 7100 I'm not sure.

I left the circuit connected and not working while I was doing some other stuff and it came up working after about 1-2 hours. Can reset the system and/or unplug the circuit and it won't come back up.

Verified card is good. Circuit is set for NI2 on both ends. OS 7100 has been defaulted and it won't work in default condition either thus ruling out database issues. Anyone else with any luck PRI experience on an OS 7100?

I installed one a couple of weeks ago and all worked fine first go. Not sure if our PRI services are different to yours down here.

System was running 4.30L, Tepri is 4.25.

Cheers, Dave.

Update -

Have tried two (2) different OS 7100 MP10a processors, two (2) different OS 7100 cabinets and two (2) different TEPRIa cards all with the same result.

Circuit will not come up (does come up finally after 1 - 1/2 hours)

Installed both TEPRIa cards in an OS 7200 and they pop right up working properly.

Anyone?

What are the status of the lights when the PRI is plugged in.

I have seen other systems have this kind of problem due to a lack of a clocking card installed. The T-1 or PRI card can't synch because it isn't close enough or in step with the circuit.
A CSU might help some.
Do we have an internal T-1 clock of any kind?

Not really. We can provide clocking in a PRI networking scenario. But no real internal clocking. Samsung has always been picky when it comes to T1 and PRi.

The clocking is done by the MP card.
I just installed a tepri-a 4.25 on a 7100 mp10 4.30k with no issues.
Can't say i've done a mp10a with tepri yet
