Has anybody done an upgrade that didn't work.
I upgraded the 7200 MCP Boot Rom to 1.07. Then started to upgrade the LCP & MCP. LCP went to 4.17 without problems but when it came to the MCP 4.14, the system would no longer boot up. Looking at the MCP via Hyperterminal I got the following error
[Boot PGM] <<< Boot Program of OfficeServ 500/7200 System >>> V1.07:2007/058 cpld = 00, bit_flag = 0000 cpld = 00, bit_flag = 0000 cpld = 00, bit_flag = 0000 [Boot PGM] This board is for MMC memory card. ... Have reloaded the Boot Rom & tried v2.67, v2.69 & v4.11 but nothing works.
Spoke to our tech support (not directley to samsung) they recommended switching on dip switch 5, but still nothing.
Anybody have any ideas how I can get it to work without sending the card back.

I had tried 4.30, with the same result. I only captured the 4.14 start up.

Have you tried booting with battery off?

Yes. I've run out of ideas. The next step would be to hit it with a hammer.

Want to borrow my hammer. Have you another system that you could copy all and try to install on the card or buy a new card or mcp
