System: Prostar DCS - ROM Version 03.11.06 V4.8

I would like to know how, if possible, to prevent all extensions between 210 and 280 (our SLI lines) from being able to call any internal line except 529 (voicemail). I've tried disabling the Intercom feature in MMC(COS CONTENTS) but that prevents dialing 529. Also, the Toll Deny / Allow tables only seem to affect external calls. Any help would be appreciated. :bang:

you would need a system engineer from the states to tell you how to do it different in uk

You need to setup stn to stn use.
put all the slt extensions into a group and then don't allow that group to call itself
this is probably not admin level programming

The above post by nameless is correct and you will need tech level access to make the changes. I would suggest contacting a dealer in your area to make the changes!

Is Stn/Stn use available on DCS? I haven't installed a DCS since 4.6 though...

I have access to the technician side of our system. I also have the technician manual, but cannot find anything pertaining to Stn/Stn Use. Would it possibly be listed as an option under an MMC? The powers that be here would rather enforce the policy of if one of our phone reps calls another, it results in suspension, rather than spending the money having our system serviced. call

Good question... I didn't think about it not being available on that old of a system. I'm sure one of our "old-time" Samsung guys will let us know.

The only thing I can think of off the top of my head would be to tenant the system. That is done on a per cabinet/slot basis but I am not sure if that would also affect the ability to call voicemail.

I found the Assign Station / Station Use MMC, but it says it requires ROM V6.10 or later, and our system is V4.8. I don't know if this is completely accurate, but when entering the specified MMC, it comes back with "INVALID DATA". Does anyone know of an alternate?

That is not a US manual that you have.
