We have a Prostar DCS system that's been working fine ... until today. Now we're getting a "VM ALARM" message displayed on a phone. When I try to connect to the svmi-8 through the serial port on a PC, I see the SVMI-8 splash screen and then a bunch a garbage characters starts scrolling on the screen. After a about a minute, I'll see the splash screen again and then the scrolling garbage again. (I don't have a baud rate or parity issue with the serial port). I believe the SVMI-8 is rebooting over and over. Also, the auto-attendant no longer answers, so I'm sure it's related. Could this be due to the 80% threshold in MMC XXX? I can't find anything that says what the system does when the theshold is exceeded. How can I clear the VM ALARM and figure out what's going on?
Please do not post MMC's

This is going to have to be dealt with at the DOS level. We cannot support this in the open forum. We can help you via PM or help you find a local dealer.
