Installed a softphone today, opened up all req ports (that was in the special applications section in the manual) problem is that the caller that calls into the softphone hears himself/herself echo real bad but the person on the softphone has no audio issues. Is there a port I am missing? Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Running version 4.41a

Check you jitter/loss setting in mgi options and ip phone options.
Does this happen when using the softphone locally? What is the quality of the link?
I have found that nearly all voice related issues are link related.
Also check the headset you are using with another audio application

May also want to check the firewall or any other security application on the PC.

Try the softphone with a headset.
I've seen some laptops that will loopback the audio between the speakers and mic (most are fine).
Is the echo a constant or variable level? With Jitter and Loss over a WAN connection it will vary depending with the chaning quality of the link. A constant echo from can still be link related but can be something more within your control.
