The system is an OS100 R2 v2.76b, SVMi-4E v4.02. The system also has an MGI-16 card installed. All the stations ring 8 or 9 times before forwarding to the voice mail box. The No Answer Forward station timer is set to 15 sec., so should forward the call to VM in 4 or 5 rings, all the boxes have Forward set for N/A going to the SVMi group. No matter what I set the timer to, even 1 sec., or how many times I reset the system it never seems to change. No idea what's going on. Any suggestions?

When does this happen? When you call in on a CO line or when you call from station to station?

From a CO line. All the stations are set to auto answer mode, but station-to-station between a couple stations set to ring mode had the call sent to VM in 4 rings.

Okay... does the CO line ring directly to one phone or does it ring to several phones?

My guess, it rings to a group and that's the timer that needs to be changed.

Is this SPNETed through a network? If so you are looking at the external forward timer not the FNA timer. Also do you have Preset FNA set on the stations or individual no answer forwarding set? If neither you are looking at the transfer recall timer. Good Luck

In the cases I tested it was by entering the extension while in AA and a line that directly rings an extension. The group overflow timer works fine.

Not an SPNET node, so that's not an issue.

AND... I went by the site after posting last time, now a day after attempting to change the timers, and what do you know, it's going to VM after 5 rings. Weird.

Thanks for the replies!
