I have a customer that runs 3 companies. So they would need 3 different on hold messages per what trunk they put on hold.
right now am in the quote mode.
Can the 7100 do this ? I know that there are two already but can only use one for on hold.
Maybe can I use multiple recordings on the voicemail system ??
Thanks
D.

You can use VM ports, or PSTN trunk ports. The system has 1 ext MOH port on it

I didn't know you could use trunk ports. How would the programming for that work?

It's been avail as far back as the the DCS. They left it out of the OS7000 until v4.3.
There is a MMC "trunk port MOH", you define which trunk port(s) you want to use, and then hook up the liu and moh source as you would to the misc card. You can then select the trunk number for Trunk/station MOH and BGM

You can use the VM for multiple recordings but you have to assign each VM port a specific prompt number. So if you want VM to play 3 differnt MOH recordings, its going to take 3 VM ports and that only leaves you with 1 port to process calls with. But if that is the way you want to go I would go with a 7200 w/SVMI 20e.

Trunk port MOH is an option in customer on/off per trunk MMC, not a MMC by itself.
But it looks like it may only appear in KMMC on the 100/500, but it is in IT Tool for OS7000 but 4.3 or later software

There are MOH devices for single line phones. They common to the line. I think it was TT systems that had them.
In the old Tie 612 systems you could tie an audio transformer to each line (radio Shack about $2) and common them to a MOH source. I forget how exactly we did that but it worked and was cheap.
