We recently installed the same VOIP provider at our main location here in IL and at our branch office in GA. The VOIP provider has programmed extension dialing to connect to our our GA branch. The calls are instead routed through the ISP network rather than making a long distance call. GA's extension is 5200. IL's extension is 5100. GA can successfully pick up the handset and dial 5100 from their phone to direct connect to our auto attendant in IL. Our IL office has to dial 9 to get an outside line. So if we pick up the handset and dial 9 + 5200, nothing happens. It seems the phone system is waiting for more digits. How can I program our Samsung Office Serv 7200 phone system to accept a dial out of 5200? I'm thinking I need to make an entry in the LCR table somewhere.

ryan why are dial 9 and then dailing 5200 why are you not just dialing 5200 if you done your network lcr correctly

I thought that dialing 9 gave you access to the LCR. That is why we have to dial 9 + 1 + phone number. Without dialing 9, the system does not allow me to 5200. I dial 5, then 2, then 0. The system only recognizes 0, and takes me to the operator.

9 gives you the access to outside lines if you where networking systems over ip you would or i would do network lcr give sites node nos do lcr so the 5200 would go over spnet to other sites if you wanted to dial out from remote site you can via lcr but you need to program sites up first

You can use Network lCR for non-spnet calls.
I have done this at a nursing home so that the residents who were used to direct PSTN lines don't have to dial 0 for a trunk.

I have also used it todo sip peering between MY OS7100 and OS7400 as i don't have a spnet license on my OS7100 yet.

The entry in the normal LCR table is the same, just a few more steps first.
