Is there a chance that there is an IP conflict with another device and the SVMI?

IP conflicts can cause devices to reset. Unplug the LAN cable to the SVMi20 and then try to ping the internal address assigned to SVMi20.
If you have replaced every part, and reprogrammed from scratch, it has to be something like an IP conflict or enviromental.
Another thing we've done on jobs like this is put a Tripplite brownout/surge protector on it PLUS an AC monitor plug. One of those little plugs with a half dozen lights from green to red where if the voltage goes low or high it triggers an audible alarm.
We've all had installations like this, hang in there, you'll find it.

Sorry - put the alarm BEFORE the Tripplite.

Tried diconnecting the LAN and pinging. No IP conflicts that we can see.
Have you got a manufacturer and part number for the alarm doodad ??

No, but we bought it from Mike Sandman Telecom many years ago and it has saved us more than a couple times.

We've had this problem... and traced the problem to a defective 16DLI card or 8DLI card. (Truthfully, I don't remember which) When the card was in the switch with nothing connected to it (via the RJ ports on the front of the card) the system did not reboot. When we connected teh house cables to it, the system would reboot. We replaced the card. It was easy to identify because the problem occurred almost immediately after we installed the card into an existing working system.
Thank you!

If the system is working fine in your shop then you might look at the E-Gateway part. Could there be an issue with the voicemail trying to process messages to the email server with no or partial success then the voicemail buffer fills up and it does a reset to clear itself? What does your vm errors tell you?
