New OS7400 system in high school, many WAPS, ITP phones running set up in either DHCP or Static no problem, I can Ping phone system from my laptop via wireless but cannot register phone in DHCP or Static mode. Any thoughts?

VoWLAN registration turned on in the relevant MMC?
AP type set correctly (basic, combo or dual)?
If using "dual (SMT-R2000AP)" make sure your lan cable is plugged into the WAN port and not the LAN port.
If using static ip's or public registration make sure that static wip policy is turned on.
Make sure your username/password are setup correctly.
WIP extensions are Different from ITP extensions in the number plan.

Not using Samsung WAP. Customer has HP WAP'S throughout building. Do I need to be concerned with AP type etc.?

AP type needs to be set to dual.
Have you checked the other settings I mentioned? (register VoWLAN enabled, static wip policy, etc)

Static WIP Policy and Register VoWLAN are disabled. Should they be enabled?
When you say username and password do you mean extension number and password?

Register VoWLan needs to be enabled.
static wip policy only applies if your using a dhcp server or static ip's, rather then putting them into the relevant mmc
