i had a post on this issue that disappeared.
i want to have access to line 3 fax on all exts. but not have line 3 ring on any ext.pls

Set the trunk ring for 703 to goto either the fax extension or an unused slt port for Day and night ring.
As for station access, just put it in the relevant outgoing trunk group

I'm not positive, but I think I had the same problem with no s/l extensions and I think I got it to ring a loud bell (which didn't exist) to satisfy the software.

That should work, as a loud bell will ring regardless of whether its physically connected or not (just like a SLT)
