I have a fax line, on extension 2065. 2065 is on a 16-SLI card. When a fax comes in, the fax machine answers, but when another fax comes in at the same time, instead of a busy signal, the 2nd fax goes to the Operator.

How do I make it ring Busy, when it is?

It is a T1-Pri Line, using a DID assigned number as the fax number, and going thru the 16-SLI card on Assigned port 2065...

In DID table set call waiting to no and allow only one call to the fax machine at a time.

Just to let you know... Problem solved...

It seems the Fax machine has a 2 incoming line ability, a last week or so, someone enabled that feature, so the fax machine itself did not reply to the phone system that it was busy, since it's 2nd line had been activated.

This had nothing to do with the iDcs 500, as the settings were all correct there..

When I disabled the 2nd line on the Fax Machine, it went back to normal, and started ringing "busy" when the one line was being used.

All fixed.
