Hello All, I have a DSU II comdail system and Impact Phones. One of my extensions is giving me grief. Here is the problem.
When the Receptionist (Ext # 10) Transfers an incoming call the the extension (#50) and the extension does not answer (or is on DND) the call gets returned back to the Receptionist. It is supposed to go to the persons VM box. I have double checked the the VM box is operational and receptionist can transfer directly to VM box.
Thanks Gary

PhoneGuyNE Ok here goes. I am trying to do exactly that using the following process (found in manual for DSU)
INTERCOM XXXXXXXXX DIAL 53 DIAL 21 DIAL 0-9 (rings before forwarding) DIAL Number of VM port.
but what Happens is the following I Dial INTERCOM XXXXXXXXXX Then I Dial "53" then I dial "21" Then the call drops...(like the programing is complete) and the Phone set is then set to CALL FWD to Extension # "32".
It is like it ignores the "1" in 21 and thinks "5" in "53" is the programming code.
HELP!

Tosevite, I just tried the program out here on my DSU. From Intercom 10 or 12 Only. It works just fine per your program steps described.

OK thanks for the Quick reply. So I go to the "12" station and Attempt this again.
How do I select which station I want to assign the RNA call fwd to? The Manual says.
INTERCOM XXXXXXXX 1. DIAL 53 2. DIAL 21 3. DIAL 0-9 (rings before forwarding) 4. Select Station Ports (LED On= Feature Assigned) -- Station 10-57: Dial 10-57 5. Dial * for additional station ring assignments --or-- Dial ** for next Station feature --or -- Dial *** for configuration mode
where I am lost is when I am at step 3 & 4, I see the text on the LCD saying "Ring = 4"( I entered 4) but then I try and enter the station ID (50) and nothing happens.
