Have a DX-120 with a PRI first problem when accessing a trunk to dial out there is a ticking sound on every trunk. once the call is stablish all is clear. second problem: only ext 101 is ringing with incoming calls. I program 4 more phones to receive incoming ring. but phones only show red light but won't ring. I can use pick up code and answer the call. any input is appreciated

I had a customer with a PRI from PAETEC and it "ticked" also. Everything else seemed to work OK--so customer just lived with it. I called PAETEC & Vertical support several times---couldn't really get any satisfaction. If I remember correctly--someone said that the noise was an "indicator" that showed that everything was working good, Sure.....

Add the extensions you want to ring as members in your UCD.

Dumb question do the stations that don't ring have the ringer turned off?

Are you pointing the lines to the UCD group with the extensions in them? Example: Co line, answer position 1 day 23:432 and night 23:432. The members (ext. you want to ring) should be in UCD 23 and the hunting method in this UCD group should be ALL RING.

The "ticking" sound you are hearing is generated by the DX, not the telco. This is normal.
Also make sure your UCD is programmed as ALL and not linear, I see that all the time and the result is it rings the first phone in the UCD group.
