System:OS7100
We currently have a day and night setup with either thank-you for calling or sorry we are currently closed.
These prompts are fine but i want to make the call answering abit now dymanic and personal like this:
0am - 9am - Good Morning - (Jump to night message - closed message) 9am - 12am - Good Morning - (Jump to day message - thank-you for calling XXX) 12am - 5pm - Good Afternoon - (Jump to day message - thank-you for calling XXX) 5pm - 12pm - Good Evening - (Jump to night message - closed message)
Ive heard these greatings can be recorded into different mailboxes and depending on the time the call is routed through one of them and then back to either the day or night mode message.
Is this correct and possible??
Thanks Ashley

It is possible via the scheduling in the vm/system.
I would just setup 3 menu's with the 2 prompts, 1st being greeting (good morning, etc) then the 2nd being the day or night message.
Then just send the calls into the vm from the system and the schedule in the vm will route the call to the menu based on the time of day

Ashley, I had trouble with anything more than day/night switching when I first started using Samsung SVMi but through trial and error figured out how to route calls into RP1-6 in DDI routing to groups which ring once then overflow to the SVMi group. You have to create the required group mailboxes and do some fwd station programming but this works very well in practice.
contact me if you need more info.

Version after 4.40 allow you to have up to 99 different modes.
You can set each ring plan mode in MMC 758 and then configure those modes under "Open Block Table/Mode" on the web management.
Mode 1 is associated to Day Main and Mode 2 is Night Main, by the Defaultl. There are 2 other modes: Holyday and Wether.
You can create a Mode 5 to say "good afternoon bla bla bla" and Mode 6 to say "good evening bla bla bla"
This is easiar than have forwarded stations and stuff.
