Hi there,
Just looking to point extension 203 to mailbox 225
and extension 205 to mailbox 204 (without losing contents of mailboxes... help?


BTW- I did get in to the system believe it or not on my mac using zterm, and a goldx usb-serial cable..
not sure what up with hyperterm serial cable issue on the server in the same room. Tried another cable, no difference...

Help? Finally found the manual, but did not address this kind of situation at least as far as I was able to tell...

You have to set the new MBX number in the extension:

1. Go to OPEN BLOCK TABLE.
2. Go to EXTENSION menu.
3. Select the extension to edit and change the related mailbox:

You can do a backup if you want with this:

But the mailbox will remain with the same messages after the changes.

I did try that, saved, rebooted the voicemail and the DCS 100 no joy, still had the wrong persons name when we called in and let the voicemail pickup... Will try again and leave it set that way, i left yesterday having put it back to the way it was. Thanks,

FileZilla works so much better than the SVMiBackup utility for back ups. The arrows on the pic indicates the name of the mailbox block. If you look to the left of that you need to change the Number and the Dial Number on the mailbox block and extension block.
