a couple of issues - i have successfully installed and used link/operator at one site, but here are a few questions that have some up and i dont know answer to:
currently using trial versions - system running on SBS 2003 R2 with SQL Server 2005......
1. Can Link run as service - link does not (connect) when running as a service without someone being logged on, even then the service only launches the application and the user must press the connect button to get a connection. Is this by design or is it a problem? Does it require a key to properly run as a service without a log on?
2. Will Dataview work with Firefox or only IE?
3. Is there a trial version for the soft phone app - didnt see it on GSBN
yes - i am a certified samsung installer
thanks for your time
-I appreciate your time and help-

If you tick the connect on startup box in os link options (next to run as a service box) then it will connect without user intervention.
can't say ive tried dataview in firefox, but given samsung's track record with web interfaces (web mmc) and firefox not working, id say it won't.
If you have 4.30 or later on a OS7000 you can enable the tutorial license which will give you 2 x softphone licenses to play with for 14 days.
Make sure you get the latest version of dataview (esp is your server is 64bit)
