Easiest way to check if R1 or R2 is by software version.
V1.x is R1 V2.x is R2
Or look at the label on the MCP card.
MCP = R1 MCP2 = R2
SCP/LCP = R1 SCP2/LCP2 = R2 for L systems

Bmreen, CID is coming down line.
I checked the MMC's. They are all correct. I have not checked if the card is seated yet.
If I recall correctly, this all happened about a year and I reset some card that made the CID start working again. Any ideas?

Just to clarify. When I "reset" I mean restart, not reset to factory defaults.

I had a 500R1 with no CID. After going thru the trouble shooting process, I replaced the CID card (RCM or CRM) and haven't had a problem since.
