I have 2 different 7400 systems, 1 with 4.51 and 1 with 4.53C software and they both do the same thing as in Mobex works if you call a specific extension, but it will not ring the cell if it is a group call, and it will not let you put that mobex number as a member of a group. Any Ideas!

If I pair it with a digital port useing mmc 217, and that digital ext is in the group it works but that would take a real digital port for each of these situations (they are going to need 20 or so) but it will not work on a virtual port and I have no idea why, anybody got a suggestion?

Is this an uncondition group. I know it works if the group is set as distributed.

Well I can't get it to work on any group mode, uncond, distr, sequen using a virtual port but if I go back to a digital ext and re-pair with mobex it works?

Mobex won't work with any type of SLI (virutal or physical).
Since virtual digital's are plug out you can't use them, the same thing applies to IP/SIP extensions that aren't in use.
You should be able to put the mobex extension number into a ring group though...

Thats what I would think and I even found in some documents that says that it can be a member of a ring group but when I put a mobex ext in the group is gets a "mismatch group member type" error.

I get the same issue here on my OS7400 4.46d. I have just sent an email to samsung tech support about this.
The mobex guide we have says that a mobex standard user can be added into a station group.

Ok here is what I just setup - I have ver 4.46d - I setup mobex on an virt slt port and it works with a group set to seq and unconditional. I then tried to setup the same thing with a virt DGP port and it will NOT work. Joey - try using the virt slt ports and try that. Also I am using SIP trunks, dont have a PRI on my test system.
