Randomly when I check my VM it tells me I have 1 new VM to listen to the VM press 1, to save it 2, delete 3. So I press 1 and it tells me I have 1 new VM to listen to the VM press 1, to save it 2 delete 3. So I press 1 and it tells me I have 1 new VM to listen to the VM press 1, to save it 2 delete 3. So I press 1 and it tells me I have 1 new VM to listen to the VM press 1, to save it 2 delete 3. So I get frustrated and press 3… then the problem is solved except for the fact I dont know who called and left me the message. Any thoughts?

I called Samsung and the engineer told me that I shouldn't have the Message Waiting Indicator point toward the extension or it will randomly get stuck in a loop... so where do I point the MWI if not at the station I want it to indicate? I have an idea I'll point mine at yours you point yours at mine, page me when I have a message. Any thoughts?

What do you get if you trace the VM in the activity log?

Maybe rebuild(default) that mailbox extension. Of course you'll have to re re-record you stuff.

Make sure message alert is off and make sure your extension is not listed as the message alert number. Could be a recording of the system notifying you that you have a message. You will need to search the trace log to following the message and how you got it. Look at the one you deleted and see how it got there.

This one is a piece of cake. You had a hang up call and the voice mail recorded a second of silence. Happens all the time on the SVM.
I can't believe this got by a Samsung engineer, so simple.
You can curb this issue a little bit by making the minimum message length as long as possible. I believe default is crazy - like 200 milliseconds. Make it 3000 milliseconds, 3 seconds.

I second what Noisycow suggested. Happens all the time. It's a millisecond message that is left. This usually happens on a system with lousy C.O. Line disconnect from my experience.
