I have assigned a day greeting to be in use when the phone rings 5 times, or after hours.
My message says: "If you know your parties extension please dial it at any time..."
When I dial the extension I am trying to reach the message system says "Thank you, goodbye" and hangs up.
Any idea what I am missing? Thanks in advance

Sounds like its searching on invalid,,
Double check the extension is valid in the VM also the ??? or ???? srch extn as stated above
Best thing is to use the utility to view exactly what is going on. Either through port status or the log on built in VM

You are all right.
I checked under my day menu. It is missing the ??? and ???? for mailboxes and extensions. It is also missing 6 for transfer.
This is going to sound stupid, but I found the Menu INPUT Processor (Menu Block, Day Menu, Page 2), went to a blank line and hit enter and nothing happens.
How do you insert them in the SVMI-20e Day Menu?

I figured it out.
I was connecting via Telnet which can be kinda bizarre at times.
I moved over to my server and connected direct to the SIO port and Walla, worked like a charm.
Thank you all for the help.
