After several days of searching online, here is the best bet to get the info needed, the site is very knowledgeable.

We have in our office 12lines all with the same phones for over 7yrs, Samsung12B Prostar DCS, we have had the same general greeting/voicemail forever, when someone calls our office there is no menu, all the lines ring so there is no transfer option, when no one picks up or at night, the current voicemail picks up and hangs up, no option to leave a message, which we dont mind but we have not been able to change that message, we need it since we change the DBA name, whenever we tried from any phone, we could change the v/m for that particular extension not the general..

Is there any code to access the main greeting? it has to be turned off since it just hangs up, but not able to find it..

I contacted Samsung directly, no help, the person who installed this, disappeared, company closed down, my telecompany couldnt do much..

There should be Samsung techs all over Miami that can service your voicemail.

You may have a SMVI Administrator's manual but you need to go into VM administration and the first menu item is greetings. Prompt 1001 is day and prompt 1002 is night, listen to the directions and be sure to "save" the new greeting.
