I use Panduit but the local ICC rep gave me some samples about 6 months ago.

I guess I should get them out and try them.

I have installed two contract jobs and superior jacks where supplied. they seem OK.

WE have useed ICC for about 12 years Now. No problems yet.

They are coming out with new innovative products regularly. They now have a line of face plates that are slightly larger which are great if you pre-install caddies on the steel studs (like we do) and the drywallers make the cutouts too big.

Thank you everyone for your input... good stuff! I'm really not an installer, but looking at it from a support and IT point of view. If I have jacks that are poor quality at the desk, I'm going to have issues in the future with PC techs or end users pushing on them to hard and they snap. Most of the time,i have seen good stuff installed and its durable. But I have seen the jacks where it only takes about 4-5 RJ45 plugins on the same jack and it starts to show signs of weakness and eventually either make a crappy connection or push back into the wall.

Thanks again everyone!!

We use Allen-Tel (Graybar) almost exclusively. Compatible with any brand keystone jacks/plates and pretty good quality. Avaya and Panduit are both good, but only fit their plates. Leviton is good, and compatible with keystone.

My advice would be to get 3-5 of each brand you can get locally and install/play with/abuse them. See which is easiest to install and which is most durable and reliable.
