I am interested in doing fiber cabling. Done copper data for many years. Now I bought a couple books that go through the terminology. I am kinda comfortable with Fiber jargon. I just need to obtain hands on work or practice. Any suggestions? I am located Detroit, MI area.

Check with any of the manufacturers or distributors. A lot of them offer training courses.

The guy who wrote that, Jim Hayes, had a training company that he sold to Fluke. His sites were/are very good!
