if you tone alot upgrade to the intellitone pro200 from fluke.I just got one 3 months ago and works great on live networks even has wiremap on it as well.tells what service phone/data.and tones coax.It cuts trouble shooting time down.

You wouldn't believe what they want for that at one of my suppliers.....$770.68 for the unit & $1059.69 for the kit....what a rip-off!

Another device or kit to look at would be Fluke's CableIQ w/Gigabit Kit. It has quite a few good abilities if you are doing a lot of work, I had one ordered yesterday to replace an older model WireScope 150. They run anywhere from $1500.00 to $2300.00 or so depending on which kit you get. They are not set for the Full Certifications like the DTX units, but they can qualify your networks. It can do the switch port flashing for you as well.

according to this chart here the microscanner doesn\'t blink the hub ( click moves adds and changes and then chart) I wonder if they removed the feature ?
