Hal,
and everyone else also,
What is your feeling on matching decora vs. non-decora style faceplates to existing electrical wall plates? Is this a detail you look after also?

We just match the color (as close as we can). Mostly white, black and almond though. At the agency we use Systimax jacks. I don't think they make a Decora plate for them. We've got singles, double triples, quads, sixes and even a couple of eights (two gang).

Reading the thread I see my installs are about typical. Leviton and voice matches faceplates and 5e data is blue. We used orange back during the Cat5 days. I thought about using a different color for Cat6 but I have just been using blue.
But it doesn't matter. I can tell the difference between Cat5 and Cat6 jacks a mile away...

The customer sets the standard for jack color,brand,p panals,and everything in between. If they don't care then go with what you prefer. Simple and easy everybodys happy.
