MODEL 23100 WITH 5 AND 6 LINE EXPANSION BOARD. PROBLEM... SYSTEM RESETS ITSELF FREQUENTLY, HANGING UP ALL PHONE LINES.
UNPLUGGING THE 2X4 EXPANSION BOARD AND REINSTALLING IT HELPED BUT NOW LINE 5 AND 6 ON THE EXPANSION BOARD DON'T WORK.
THANKS IN ADVANCE.

You have bad connections on the mother board.
Shut the system down and reseat all of your cards. Also reseat your power supply. That should do it. Let us know how it goes.
Hope this helps.

Make sure that dial tone is going all the way to the plug in on the card. If it is and you think it may be the card you can find one by clicking the Sundance Logo on the top of this page.
Hope this helps

Have you checked the F screen to make sure
that the lines exist? Thay should show up as 5 and 6 on this screen. Are you using group trunk access keys or direct trunk keys?
If group key, make sure the lines are programmed into the trunk group on the B screen.

Yes motormike, make sure that the lines are good and its not a programming error. The IDS series sometimes will loose a program if you are have power or seating problems so make sure you check the line and programming before you spend money on something you might not need.

I would start with the card first,You can find one by clicking on the SUNDANCE logo on top of this page. You will need to know what IDS system you have as there are different cards. It sounds like you have a IDS 42 or 84.
Hope this helps
