Have and Executone cx3672, which I determined via manual had a bad CPB card. This has a DSS console on it and not being real familiar with Executone can't seem to understand how to program the console. I'm going into station types and doing flash 40, putting in extention 100. Book shows 1 in a box =DSSw/map#1...how do I get there? Assuming that is what I want.
Thanks,
Bill

Bill, you need to change the station type for the DSS. Plug a phone into that location and find out which extension it is. Then go back into programing from extension 100 at flash 40, enter extension, ( page b, button 1)to scroll through types, then hold. Then save information by hitting flash 80, hold.
Good Luck!

If all else fails, use a BFH.

Thanks for the reply, will give it a try. I read in the manual about flash 80 but everytime I try it I get a deny tone, but changes seem to store without it. I'll let you know if this works.

Well JJ yes and no. The DSS console lights when stations are picked up, but can't direct select a station from the console to call it, your suggestion helped, the program key didn't step through I found a place in the manual that said to dial in the option along with the station, in this case 1102, which made it work as described above. Stare and compare from old card to new the only thing different is the number on the end, the old is 10000006 new is 10000000 (number of zeros may not be right) I find no way to change this if it needs changed. Still working through this and other programing issues, any suggestions welcome.
Thanks,
Bill

If Flash 80 did not work, you have older software. I sent you an email with my number. Call me I should be able to help you. There are onl three types of station cards: standard, off-hook voice announce, and single line.

If all else fails, use a BFH.
