Are looking for something special on the line cord? These cords are all over the place. If you don't have a parts dealer near you they carry those cords at Wall Mart, any of the Office Supply stores. Basically anyplace that you can purchase home phones. You are talking about the cord from the wall to the phone, not from the phone to the handset?

We have had issues with 4 conductor line cords and Tech support(Vertical and ESI) always says to change them out to single pair line cords. Which in some cases works as i'm sure i'm not the only person that has seen it. In some instance i have some 10' and 14' ones that come with phones but its always the one that goes the whole way around the room. I've gotten around by putting a coupler in place then using the cord with the phone but a coupler is just another point of failure. I can't find them anywhere or even just the silver line cord itself and ends to make it. I may be just calling it the wrong thing?

I have gotten the cords themselves from a company called "Provisions Modular Hardware" in New York. LINK

Just out of curiousity how many pins are on the bottom of the phone? When asking for the line cord try referring it as Silver Satin line cord. You should be able to get it where you buy your cross connect wire at. Then you should be able to find modular plugs (RJ-11's) with 2,4 or 6 pins.

Get the two pair but just use the middle pair, don't terminate the outer pair.

Can't tell you how may I got rid of. Avaya gives them to you with every Partner expansion mod, one for each line port. Had a pile literally two feet high. They went to China when I sold them to the scrap dealer.
