Does anyone know if other brands of jack modules are compatible with face plates made under the AMP brand? We are working a joint project where the data cabling people are supplying these and we just need to provide modules for the voice cables that will fit.
We can buy AMP brand if necessary, but I'd rather use ICC since that is what we stock.

Amp makes their modules just a little too big for standard keystone jacks. You can snap an Amp jack into other keystone plates, although you may not get it out again without breaking something. ICC jacks are too small to snap into the AMP plates reliably.

I know leviton jacks used to be the same. I haven't tried recently though.

Some P&S jacks fit in the AMP plates. As Crisco said i know that the Leviton ones used to as well.

Me and a partner also use the AMP jacks from time to time but we use the Dynacom plates, it comes out of the same factory as the ICC and Allentel but the 6 port includes 3 blanks, 4 port 2 blanks and 3 port 1 blank. It's a nice bonus at no charge and we like the way they fit better than the AMP plates.
Good Luck
