Hi.

I manage an Executone IDS 228 with the Infostar VX2. I'm in the midst of assigning and programming the extensions and DIDs for our offices, but I'm not able to determine how to "assign" the general mailbox for our incoming calls to our receptionist.

We're using x3200 for reception, but incoming outside calls are going to the receptionist's mailbox #3200 (which intercom calls should, but not incoming outside calls).

I have the manual for the 228, but not the VX2.

Have I even come close to providing enough info for help on this?

Thanks, "NTCP". Actually, "DTMF" was able to e-mail the manual to me. Even so, I found the problem before I got the manual.

The recptionist's extension needs to forward to a hunt group (in our case H36). I had inadvertently set both ICM and CO calls to forward to the extension's voice-mail box, and also forgotten to match day and night settings.

She's purrin' now. The Executone is stunningly versatile, but quite complex to program (kind of reminds me of AppleBASIC to a degree--you always start simple and then it grows cancerously).
