I have a Wyse 150 terminal that I'd like to hook up our IDS-84. It works in programming mode just fine - but can it be used for the operator's terminal as well? When I hit CTRL-O for operator, it displays a bunch of garbage (like a stream of ESC sequences) and then shows the operator's screen, sort of. The boxes don't line up properly and the screen looks a little garbled.
Any suggestions?

It should work if the emulation is correct. The operator is assigned on the B screen with the port number of the i/o port. I would guess the terminal emulation isn't correct. The IDS used a Wyse 60 as their operator screen.
