What type of hanger?
Not a D-ring, but something supported from both sides.
I know Caddy has the J-hook but it is unstable mounted via the horizontal clip.

That just might be the ticket. OK in a plenum ceiling? Talking about PVC ones here, the metal ones would be too thin/rough to pull a wire through down the road I am guessing. Something like this - https://www.homebuilderwholesale.com/STRPVC3.html

If its only a couple cables these Velcro straps would work ![[Linked Image from fastenation.com]](https://www.fastenation.com/siteImages/small/Cable-Catch-1.jpg) For more cables I would use D rings ![[Linked Image from hometech.com]](https://www.hometech.com/hts_images/10051_170.jpg) And if its a large group of cables I would consider wire tray Or you could always stick wire mold across the ceiling.

With or without REINS? (Bridle Rings, what a difference mispelling a word [By Me] can make)

Some would be large bundles of 50+ cables, so I ordered 4" PVC straps to try. Odd reason - they want it all cabled prior to the ceiling going in.
Hanging wire trays would be best, but no one nowadays is willing to pay for professionally done work, only the bare minimum it takes to get a pass.
