Hello all:
I have an IDS-84 with the latest version of software. We currently pipe our music on hold music over our intercom speakers. We need to do this 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (we're a radio station). The problem is, the music stops at midnight. Is there a setting that I'm missing that allows me to set it up to broadcast all the time?
thanks for your help.

The IDS system has a reset function, it does this every night when the system is idle. you can go into prog. B- SYSTEM PROG v-VARIOUS SET SYSTEM RESET TO NO
Let us know if that corrects it
Thanks Rick

Does the system need to reset every night or doesn't it really matter?

The Reset helps clear any weird things that might have happened. Like power glitches, lines locked up on system, etc. No it does not have to reset, but it does not hurt either.
Good Luck!!
If all else fails, use a BFH.
