NOTE: <Ctrl-P> Esc does the trick!
This is odd. I get the "status" display but when I hit ESC it repaints and usually displays idle: which disappears. I never get the password prompt.
Any ideas? I've reset, reseated boards (desperate measure), powered-down, etc.
Using Procomm at 9600-8-n-1 on same system i originally configured with!

Bad I/O port! Sometimes the ports will transmit, but not recieve. Is it a I/O expansion board on the CPU?
If all else fails, use a BFH.
