Hiya guys,
I have just gotten a new job as a receptionist in a new company and there last lady left the ESI 48 button phone set to 2 ings and then divert to e mail.I have scrutinised the user manual ,tried undivert and disabled the "forward"(if i was enabled)and still no joy.I can find NOTHING in the manual about ow to chose the number of rings beforeit hits voicemail and it is SO annoying as when the phone rings everyone has to run for it before it goes onto voicemail.I told my boss I could fix it and that I am good with things like this (I usually am Honest) but this has bdefeted me!Does anyone know how to change the number of ringsPLEASE please please.Thank you!
I have justread some of the older posts on thi subject that say I have to call an installer to do it?Is this still the case or is there anyway I can do it?I dont think we have a password yet. Thanks again...

Even though you may be very capable, this is something to let the local ESI certified reseller handle.
CO (line) parameters are only modified with the installer password, and for good reason, damage can be done by poking around. Also you probably don't have the installer password to do this work, I assume. If the installing company is not available, or working out for you, ESI can find you another installer.

Most likely a 1 hour charge at the going rate in your area. Ask the dealer that installed it if he or she can do it via remote dial in. Since you have disclosed you have a 48 key phone then that is 99% possible.
Let us know how it works out, we like happy endings!

Hey guys, I have this same problem, but I no longer am able to contact the group that installed our system. How would I go about finding someone capable of helping me?
I'm located in Havertown Pennsylvania if that helps at all.
Thanks

Charles:
Call ESI @ 800 374-0422
Or try Americom Inc @ 412-831-3131 if you are near Pittsburgh.
