I am needing some help on the VIP setup. The problem I have is that when I open Outlook the VIP button is not there. All of the troubleshooting says to make sure ports are open for UDP and make sure VIP is enabled under the about tab. I have did both of these with no luck.
I have uninstalled, reinstalled and repaired, nothing seems to change it up. I am having the same problem on two different PC's, one on the same network as the ESI system and one using a VPN back to this network.
The funny thing is I can open the call control window out of the VIP folder on the PC and it will sync to the phone system.
By the way this is my first post. I have been reading post on the forum for some time now and have found alot of very useful info.
Thanks for any help.

Did you have Outlook open when you installed the VIP software? If so, that might be part of your problem. Also, I have had to disable the plugin for VIP in Outlook and then close outlook completely and then re-open outlook and re-enable the plugin and that sometimes works. FYI: Outlook doesn't always exit when it is told, though it may appear to. It is always a good idea with Outlook to look in the task manager and make sure that you don't see "Outlook.exe" in the processes tab. This can also cause a problem if you try to close outlook and reopen it, but it never fully exits. Let me know what you find out.
