1of the other techs in our company set up ID2 for a secondary business on two lines in a customers system, and made some changes to ID1. the owner of the company ( a good ol' boy ) wants one of our CSR's to record the greetings, she can do ID1 remotely but cant get to ID2 remotely. Should she be able to? help

I didn't relize you could even do ID 1 remotely


just checked the manual on this and you can change ID's 1-8 , you will need to call a line that is answered by ID 2

I believe only ID 1 remotely........

I tried it on my IP 40e and it only did ID1. Time for some enhancement requests if you can only do ID1. Might be different on the newer systems with tenant services??

The manual says 1-8 , but must call line that is answered by ID you want to change, this is in the Comm Server manual.

from the manual for a 56S

Remotely logging into the system with the Administrator password lets the caller re-record the ID 1
greetings (day and night) and the holiday greeting, as well as change the mode to day/night/holiday

However, As Steve Mull said, ID1-8 can be done on a Comm Server.
