Is the programable code for day/night mode be 560? If so, would this be done by installer programming or by simply hitting program button plus dss button and code.My problem started when one extension dss buttons were not working,I programed them by entering station programming mode 35 hitting programable button then ext number then programable button again. Later that day our customer called to let us know that that they could not put system in night mode using dss key from recp. ext. The extension that I programmed was not the same one that they use to move system to day and night mode. The programming changes that I made also changed at the recp. extension

It sounds to me like you may have done some system-wide button programming, which might explain the change affecting more than one phone.
I always get them mixed up. 540 comes to mind, along with 560. I forget. I seem to think 540 is the holiday prompt number and 560 is the day/night button.

Justin - 540 and 560 are correct.
