Hi guys, forum newbie here. I am trying to figure out how to open up a digital port on an IVX 20. Can this be done with the port 105 phone or does it require RS 232 interface? If it can be done with 105, how is it done please guys? Esi is not being terribly helpful since I am not an "authorized reseller" just a company guy.

I'll try to help you. First of all I'm not sure what you mean by opening up a port? Are you adding an extension or a new phone line?

Adding an extension, currently we are full down to 107 on the 66 block. Below that I am getting no voltage on the block.

In that case what you need is a 2-4-2 Port Card or upgrade the entire system to a 128 in order to keep the current phones.
