Just once! Problem was solved by adjusting CO line volume in installer programming. It is a trial and error process because you don't know if you data is coming in too hot or not hot enough?

Tried that no luck. Displays show a single digit # during incoming calls. Not a CO # just a random #. I dont deal with the c class much so I had a friend send me a 3x6x0 card and moved the COs to the exp card still no cid. Initialized the system No luck. Looks like a call to ESI.

If you have lightning protection on the lines before the KSU try taking them out and just bridge it. Sometimes protection knocks the ringing voltage down and causes conflicts with CID. Had this happen here and we change the protection and it worked.
Just a thought,
Cosmo

Most likely you will need to adjust the settings in F166

Loaned them a spare S class cid works fine. Took C class back to shop gotta friend with a C class flash drive (couldnt hurt to try). There is no F166 on the C class is it. My C class experiance is limited but I've never seen it.

I stand corrected there is a F166 on the C class just not this one. According to the system docs that were deliverd to me today F166 was on this system at the time of install as the previous vendor documented ALL system settings. We have 161 & 162. (163, 165, 166, & 167) are no longer in the system. We took over this system about a year ago. Its a Gen 2 and the former vendor apparantly is no longer in business. For what ever reason the cid info dropped out last Friday.
