Hello all, We have an ESI-600 system with VIP features enabled. We have 20-30 people or so using VIP integrated with Microsoft Outlook. At least half of them receive an "error code 5: Out of synch". Is there a fix for this issue or a way to force it to sync? Our ESI installer just tells us to reinstall, but reinstalling VIP every week is getting old.
Thanks for your input.

Ask them if you are running the latest and greatest software on the phone system and VIP

I'd hope so, the system was installed in November '09. Client side we're using the latest version on esiusers.com (3.16.6).
Is there anyway to check the phone system version via the ESI-Admin program?

Looks like our phone system is on version 16.5.13.0. Is there an upgrade that I should have my ESI guy do or is that pretty new?

As in Microsoft's software updates or what? I don't think Outlook is getting updated every week.
Also we're on an exchange server, if that makes a difference.

I would discuss using the VIP SE version and get off of the Outlook integration. It seems to be working really well for me!

Yeah, I have win7 on my machine and VIP doesn't work well with it, so I've been using VIP SE.
Mostly wanted the outlook integrated one because they all know how to use Outlook, but throw in a new program and ohjeeze...
ESI updated VIP SE recently, so maybe a VIP update is coming out shortly.

I forgot about the VIP SE , couldn't hurt to give it a try.I have a couple of customers that are using it because they use AVG anti virus and the outlook version isn't compatable , I haven't heard from them since we installed it for them.
