I have a client with an ESI IVX S Class Gen 2 system. They are a franchise and are not allowed to have voicemail so I need to deactivate the system entirely so there it never picks up. Can you tell me how to do this?

I did order an installer's manual online, but it is being mailed to me instead of being available to download (go figure). So I was hoping this would be a faster method so I could get it taken care of quickly.

Thanks

Each phone has a mailbox. You need to record a message and delete it for each phone. This will disable the mail box. All greetings for the mail box need to be deleted.

PROGRAM 1 (to enter personal greeting recording)
# (to choose greeting 1)
1 (to start recording)
1 (to stop recording)
#(to o confirm)
2 (to delete)
2 (to confirm delete)
hang up

You will also have to program the lines so they ring whatever extensions you want to ring at Ring 1, 5 and 9 and never go to voicemail.

Line programming is under function 2.

Looks like it worked. I couldn't figure out how to effect the call routing, but once I deleted all three recordings on each of the phones it stopped going to voicemail. Thanks for the help!
