Anyone have any good experiences convincing an IT guy his ports are not forwarded. Trying to get a remote IP up and running and all I am told is he knows the ports are open. I ask open or forwarded he says all you can do is open them, you guys need to fix the system.

The port of the IVC Card has to be "forwarded" to the IP Address of that particular IVC Card. They can open ports all day long but there has to be some sort of "Routing". Sometimes we have to beat our heads against the wall trying to convince them they have to do this. We just had one job where we ended up getting the ISP to bring in a second internet connection and forget about the IT guy.
