Hello gang,
I'm getting the following message when trying to submit a 'feedback form' in my Frontpage 98 web page: "Cannot run the FrontPage Server Extensions on this page"
1)I did NOT save the page to a subfolder instead of saving it to the root folder.
2)I did load/enable Frontpage extensions at the host/server site.
3)The last time around I did use the Frontpage 'publish' function to upload the website vs. using the sites FTP, which I used initially. (I did completely delete the previous upload)
Any suggestions???

Try reinstalling the Frontpage extensions.
Is this a hosted site, or do you have your own web server?

Do you have any other forms working on this site?
There is a setting in FrontPage Server Extensions where you have to set up the SMTP server, email address, encoding, etc... I'm not sure if your host lets you control any of that or not. If not, have them double check it.

The server where your hosted need to have the extensions installed on their server. So yes have your host check and make sure they are installed on their end. I use FP to edit/add etc. but upload it through FTP not the extensions.

Well,
The form is now getting sent off..no more errors...but it isn't being sent to my designated email address. I'm waiting to get a call back from the host.

UPDATE: Long story short, I found out to just ignore a FP error I kept getting..which was misleading me...tweaked a setting...still continued to get misleading error msg. Deleted and reloaded site and is working fine......well except my ISP was reading the test form emails as spam.....mmmmm.....how come I'm still not receiving my test emails?... ![[Linked Image from img301.imageshack.us]](https://img301.imageshack.us/img301/2403/idea3el.gif)

Try to avoid using FP extensions. Use a third party from handler.
See what you web host allows/provides for a form handler.
