Took a call from a local business today that has a 911 notification in their display. They are fed up with their vendor nickel and diming them on every little item and wanted to know how to clear this message without a service call. Is that possible??. Takes me back to proposal time when they said they were going with xyz company. I told them at that time that this company is notorious for charging for everything. Hate to say i told you so but.....I TOLD YOU SO!!. anyway if i could help them out it would be great. It is a small Iwatsu system - about a year old. I can get more info if needed.

There should be a 911-Clear key on the attendant station. They should press this key and the display will go away. If there is not a key you will have to put a key on the attendant station.

It is not that tough to program. You will have to find out what key pattern she is currently using. That is in class 10, item 12. Then you can add a button to that key pattern. That is going to be in class 15. Let me know if you still need help.

Sounds like thats PC programming - is there a way to maybe dial a code or something or does programming need to be done via laptop?

You can do it through the phone, but it is a little more complicated. I would be glad to give you a hand while you are onsite. If we can set up a time that is good for both of us we can get it taken care of. Let me know.
