I have the Iwatsu softphones working and users can use them as long as they vpn into my network. My question is, is it possible to pass the traffic through my firewall instead so they can be used without the use of a vpn? What ports does this traffic use? Thanks

The softphone is merely an extension off the ECS switch, and as such, operates thru the switch utilizing network connections. VPNs are required to maintain QoS. What are you trying to accomplish outside your network?
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.
