Hi,
If I have an IX-8KTD, I know I can hit speaker and leave the handset down, but can the other end hear me talking into the phone with the handset down? Is it two way speaker?
I have a lot of the IX-8KTD (NS) and very few that don't have NS. Is NS no speaker? And if it doesn't have NS can I use it for two way speaker? It has a mic off option, so I would assume...

That's one reeeeeeally old phone you have there. The first generation ADIX phones required a separate circuit card to be installed inside the set for two-way conversations with a speakerphone. Someone else could call you and speak to you over the speaker, but you had to use the handset to reply. These additional cards, IX-SSPUs were included on subsequent models as standard equipment. The cards are still available, so contact your vendor for more info.
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.
